how do you pump the water out of the pond and in to the shower?
how you have a slit in the bottom couldn't i put 3 pipes coming out of the bottom
if the shower was in a shed and pipes going in to pond would it still lose heat during winter ?

A lot of people do put there showers in the shed and insulate them well throu the winter so it would work. And as for pumping the water out i use a fish-mate 9000 pump in the pond which i have conected to the spray bar ill get a pic for you later to see if you would like thumright

Glad you are thinking about a bottom drain now the filter you are looking at is a good filter still a bit small thou as the rule of thumb is you want a filter that can handle twice the size of you pond ie if you pond is 1500gallons you would want a filter the can handel 3000gallons. This is the filter i run and i have 1500gallons http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Oasis-Vor-Tec-160 ... 3a5183a2c4 and i have a shower as well. And as for you question about pumping the water back you can put a pump in the last chamber and pumb back but then you are losing your last chamber making it a smaller filter again so you would need a dry filter which sits out side the filter and pumbs the water back to the pond something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sequence-750-Koi- ... 2a0554f27b then if you wanted you could have the reture water going over a shower befor returning back to the pond.

i was just thinking if i got this filter http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fibre-glass-Multi ... _688wt_732 and run a shower there will be plenty of turn over wouldent they and turn the shower off during winter when fish are at the bottom and less active and not feeding
i have a blagdon hydrotech multi 6000 pump which i bought last year that could run the shower would this work running the shower and that filter ?
