Over the past couple months it has been brought to my attention there has been little one line digs and end of posts digs aimed at other members.
This is to stop NOW ......................
My staff and i will have no choice but to take action if this continues , If you are banned from the site you ip address will be logged to prevent you from re-registering on the site.
Let this be the last warning for you all.

over the next few weeks i will be cleaning post's , any that i think are abusive will be deleted , this will include digs and back stabbing .

on a personal note :

This forum has been based , on happy cheerful chat with great help , and a fantastic back up system provided by our members , this is now being put at risk , along with the forum as a whole , by overreaction , impatience , and a lack of control when posting .

i have also witnessed snide remarks and general winding up of some members , this has to stop , as it will make the forum a no go area for the koi community as a whole !!!

We have many extra functions on this forum , for jokes , chatting , even an 18+ section if you feel you cannot keep your oppinion to your self then feel free to air/let rip on 18+ as this is a password protected section , and will not affect the koi based sections .

please remember we have members at diffrent levels of koi keeping . and this is a growing site , not only in members , but as a community !!

I learnt something to my cost and I hope it warns others as well. Don't mess around. If fun and games are not permitted don't do it. I learnt the hard way on another forum. I have a forum name and in that name I was very sensible, really. Another member started making a few jokes about something, so I thought it would be a bright idea to "join" the same forum with a different second name. We had quite a bit of banter or fun, but unfortunately it was not wanted by most of the members, a few said it was fun, but most didn't, of those that said anything at all. I then had a pm from the top boss saying that they did not allow 2 names, (I didn't hide my identity - and I had no idea about this rule) and that the second name would be banned and removed.
In the process, I now cannot gain access to said site at all. I don't understand computers, but I think my IP address has been logged and barred from that site. I have emailed them, but it's a weekend, so hope to get a reply next week. As my first name is allowed, I hope that I can get back on it.
So the bottom line is, keep to the topic.

but surely if i insult another member who i know in a jocular way , then it is a joke even though put in a mildly offensive way surely thats not wrong .

hardly anyone gets banned from this site this is a fun learning site but in saying that i have to draw a line somewhere this is where the 3 strike rules apply if any member has any problem with anything posted i will personally deal with the facts i have to hand
