What's your thoughts on the spindrifter bottom drain I know you get what you pay for and there not cheap But have read as some say there a must and others say they would not use one as after time the air dome will block. I would say by reading about them they do a great job and if by now were no good would be alot of bad press

like every thing out there chap there will always be someone somewhere that does not like or does not get on with a product you dont have to look very far to find examples of this.
i personally think they are a must have one you have no unsightly air lines hanging over the wall of the pond and two as the air lifts water upwards it creates a better suction towards the bottom drain.

as for the dome getting blocked well these im sure these would have not had enough air passing via the air dome or real bad weed problems that they let get out of hand !!
